CANDLE CARE
FIRST TIME OWNERS GUIDE
TO DO LIST

ALWAYS TRIM YOUR WICK
- Trim your wick to 1/4 inches
- Trimming the wick helps avoid soot and smoking
- Trimming also helps secure and even steady burn
- Always check and trim the wick after every burn
YOUR FIRST BURN IS IMPORTANT
- Always allow the wax to melt across the entire surface during the first burn. This prevents tunneling (when wax burns down the center, leaving unused wax on the sides).
- For large candles, this may take 2–4 hours.
AVOID BURNING YOUR CANDLE FOR TOO LONG
- Limit your candle burn time to 3–4 hours at a stretch to prevent overheating.
- Overheating can cause the wick to shift or the container to crack.
KEEP YOUR CANDLE AWAY FROM DRAFTS
- Place your candle in a location away from fans, open windows, or vents.
- Drafts can cause uneven burning and reduce the lifespan of the candle.
SAFETY PLEASE!
- Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
EXTINGUISH THE FIRE PROPERLY
- Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Blowing it out can cause splattering or uneven wax.
- Avoid moving the candle until the wax has solidified.
REUSE AND RECYCLE JARS
- Once your candle is finished, clean out the container and reuse it as a decorative piece, planter, or storage jar. Be creative!
THE OPTIMAL ROOM CONDITIONS FOR SCENT THROW
- For the best fragrance experience, burn your candle in a space where doors and windows are closed.
- Allow the candle to burn long enough to create a full melt pool for maximum scent throw.
